In January 2005 we contracted with Debbie Culp to have wooden shutters installed in the dining room once we assumed the operations of the Inn and Restaurant.

On a routine customer service follow-up about 60 days ago, Debbie noticed the shutters did not open and close as she believed they should. She took it upon herself to contact the manufacturer and not only arrange to have ALL of our shutters replaced AT NO CHARGE, but also had them designed differently to better align with the décor. Well out of any warranty. No request from the customer (us) for any consideration, just a business woman wanting to see the job done they way she believed it should be.

I have been extremely satisfied with all of the window treatments done by V2K which includes every window in my newly built home. After being referred to Debbie Culp with V2K by Bassett Furniture in Charlottesville, I contacted her, doubting whether they would consider us since our new home is so far out of their area being an hour and a half from Charlottesville. I spoke with Debbie who was kind and enthusiastic about helping us and she made plans to drive to Luray and take a look at the house. Also, since I am recovering from cancer, she thoughtfully brought numerous fabrics and samples to me, instead of me going to her business. The choices I had were numerous and fabrics were excellent so I knew that I was going to receive a good quality product. With Debbie’s evident experience and great taste in matching colors and fabrics, and her recommendations of certain styles for certain windows, I knew I was in good hands with what we decided together for every window (all 24) in our new home in only a few hours.

She and her installer have made two visits installing window treatments as they arrive to her and will make one final visit soon. Both she and her installer are wonderful to work with and have been helpful with their recommendations on the best ways to use and take care of all of the window treatments which have been installed perfectly. The curtains, blinds and valances have made each room in our house come to life, and although they are different in each room, they are similar enough to tie the house together in a beautiful way.

If I was to be asked what the most important improvements which we made to our new home, it would definitely be our new window treatments. Not only have they made our home look sophisticated and finished, they have, my real estate agent informed me, greatly increased the value of our home.

In conclusion, I would recommend V2K and Debbie Culp to anyone who is interested in quality fabrics and beautiful results with their window treatments.
